We were without heat the entire night. Temps were in the teens. I made an online appt during the night and immediately the next morning we received a call from Bartels. Within the hour the service man arrived. Fixed our problem in no time and we were able to warm up. The service repairmen were friendly, prompt and professional. We most definitely will use Bartels for other furnace needs. Thank you Bartels for your prompt response in a time of need.

We found Bartel's Heating and Cooling on Angie's List as we are new to the area and needed to have our furnace cleaned and tuned up. Because they are in Hamilton and close to where we live, we decided to go with them. They also had wonderful reviews. Today was a very snowy, cold day and I thought maybe I would get a call cancelling my appointment. But Shane, our technician, showed up as scheduled and was very professional. He explained everything he did, showed us why the filters we currently are using may not be the best and gave us tips on how to make our furnace last longer. We were very appreciative of all his advice and suggestions, We will definitely use Bartel's again and hope that Shane answers our call if needed.

We want to thank Bartels Heating and Cooling, Inc. for superior service we have received during the past three years on servicing our HVAC needs and especially during the recent process of researching and purchasing a geothermal system. We received quotes from several companies. John Hennard was the only person that did mathematical calculations in determining the proper system for the house when interviewing companies for this project. John was also gracious in answering all my questions (and we had a lot of questions) and took great pride in developing a positive working relationship with us.
Travis and Darrell did a good job dismantling the old system and getting the new system in while the drilling was being completed. They were very happy to answer any questions that we had during the process and they were always polite and respectful of their working environment.
Shane was our trouble-shooter. Always polite, friendly, informative and patient, Shane worked the issue with the water heater and its code required devices which from the geothermal project, identified that bother were not working properly. Shane also spent around three extra hours off-the-clock helping us work with our duct work and the geothermal system to maximize air flow to all rooms in the home.
We want to express our appreciation for the superb quality of workmanship provided by all Bartels Heating and Cooling personnel whether it be bi-annual servicing or service provided in the installation of a new heating and cooling system – which in this case was geothermal. We highly recommend the company to service any customer’s needs in the area.

Just wanted to give a shout out to John Hennard (aka Santa) and the Bartels crew for coming to the rescue. We had contacted John early Fall to discuss possibly upgrading our system, but there was no rush at the time. The next week, our AC crashed on the hottest day of the season. We called and Bartels came over the same day (Monday). They gave us options for fixing vs. new unit, both of which were real good prices (Tuesday). We opted for a new slightly bigger system and it was installed and tweaked to optimize performance, (Wednesday). We now have a system that fits our house and our great room is finally cool, despite the two story windows that face the southwest afternoon sun. Our previous unit was never able to do it.

Mr. Freeman and I would like to tell you about a wonderful experience we had with your technician Paul today 7/8/2012.
We went to bed last night knowing we had an a/c problem. When we arose my husband went out to find we really had a issue and needed our air conditioning fixed ASAP as it was to be another 90 degree day. Our son had recommended Bartels to us and we have used your service at a past home on a Sunday or weekend. We knew it was Sunday but we were willing to pay the cost. At 8:30 we called the service number and by 10:30 Paul was pulling out of our driveway with the job completed and us on our way to being cool again.
Paul was timely, courteous, and very informative. Never once complaining of the heat for himself or that it was Sunday. You are a very fortunate company to have Paul on staff and now that we have a service contract with you we hope to see Paul again. We will definitely recommend Bartels to our friends and family and tell them what excellent service we received.

Thank you for having emergency service calls available.
I utilized your service this week when my blower motor went out. No air conditioning and temperatures over 100 degrees. Not a good feeling in my home.
Although there is an extra fee for after hours calls, it was worth it. My home cooled off during the night. I was able to go to work the next day knowing that the work was complete. No loss of my work time!
Your repairman was excellent it was very late at night. He had already worked a full day in the stifling heat but came to my home with a smile and a solution to my problem. Steve was wonderful. A great employee. Kind caring and customer service centered.

I’m writing this letter regarding the recent installation of an entire heating and air conditioning system in my home by Bartels Heating and Cooling. Upon accepting your bid, two things were expected. I expected total home comfort and Bartels expected full payment upon completion. We both received exactly what we expected.
This letter is about what wasn’t expected. Installers, Darrell and Charlie would be in our home every day, in part or in full, for about three weeks, any uneasiness, or fear, of having total strangers in the home was assuaged quickly as both men proved right away to not only be professional, but also regular, truly nice guys! Our entire family felt totally at ease having Darrell and Charlie in our home as we came and went to and from work or school. Questions asked by even the youngest of my children was responded to as if she was paying the bill! During the day when we weren’t home they even let my dog go outside when she needed to! WHO WOULD DO THAT? Satisfaction is getting what you pay for, total satisfaction is a feeling that stays with you.
It’s been six months now and I’m still totally satisfied with all I’ve received from Bartels Heating and Cooling, both the expected, and the unexpected. Do people make the difference? The Bartels people did!

Bartel's came out for a service call because we had no heat. The service tech was professional and quick, letting us know that there was no hope for our existing furnace. They had an estimate for a new furnace that day, and had it installed within just a few days. We were told the furnace would be more efficient than the existing one, and we've seen a decrease in monthly bills of about half, while keeping the house warmer.

I've been using Bartel's both commercially and personally the past 5-6 years. HVAC companies are notorious for shoddy work, failure to meet appointment schedules, high turnover of technicians, etc. I found and stayed with Bartel's because their turnover of technicians seems low, their prices are the lowest among reputable HVAC companies and they make every attempt to meet customers' schedules.
The furnace replacement for Bartel's first major job at my current place of employment. Being a residential care center, it's important any contractor respect the special needs and requirements of our clients. I had no reservations regarding the technicians' deportment during the furnace installation. Fellow staff even commented favorably regarding the professionalism of the technician team. Equally important, the installation was completed without any follow-up issues (as expected).
This installation was the third furnace they've installed commercially for me. Without hesitation, I highly recommend Bartel's for any HVAC needs.

Did an outstanding job cleaning furnace and resolved an issue with a loud bang that happened when the furnace would turn off.
